Massage Table Guide

I can't begin to explain to you how much I enjoy receiving a great massage. I have spent plenty of money on this over the years and as much as it hurts my wallet I don't regret it one bit. If you are not a regular visitor to your massage therapist I would recommend that you do so by any means. Sometimes this is not an option and as often as I like to receive massages I decided something needed to be done. My wife and I recently picked up some books on massage therapy and read them front to back. We've both gotten a lot better but the only thing missing was a good massage table. So in this hub I’m going to let you all in on some of the things I experienced in my search for a great massage table.

So our first instinct was to find something that was going to last for a while, comfortable to lie on, and fairly inexpensive. So we were frequent visitors to many of the online websites. Our biggest hurdle was trying to understand what exactly we were looking for but as we continued to research we were able to find the different things that were important to us. I guess this is very basic when shopping for anything that you would really like to own. There are a couple of things that we needed and I'll go over those now.

We decided that having a portable massage table was the best route for us because we have limited space and would like the option to bring our table with us. I was serious when I said we are massage junkies. So finding a good portable massage table is not that difficult, but finding one that has the comfort level that you need and accessories that you want can be a bit of a challenge. As difficult as it was to find one we stuck with this because the idea of it being portable was too important to us to walk away from.

Now this one was more my wife than I but all you guys out there know that you have to keep the lady happy if you want any peace in your home. Hopefully she doesn't read this. So I wasn't as hell bent on having this as she was but once we started using it I was sold. Again another time my wife showed me that she's smarter than I am. Just in case she's reading this! This actually turned out to be one of my favorite purchases although it was an accessory.

Earlier I mentioned that we were looking for an inexpensive massage table so we started checking out classifieds in different avenues to find pre-owned tables. Neither one of us really wanted to buy a table that already been used but we figured if the price justified it we could both get past the fact that someone else's naked body had been lying on our table. In the end though our research and homework paid off because we did end up finding the table that fit our exact needs and still met our budgetary requirements.

I'm going to give you guys a heads up on the fact that if you're looking for a massage table you'll start to find that the accessories that can be purchased for your table are almost never-ending. At some point you're going to have to draw a line in the sand for the things that you can do without. I guess this goes for just about anything in life. The accessories range from armrests, foot rest, cushions, and just about anything out you can think of. Obviously the massage table warmer that I spoke of earlier is considered an accessory and it was one of my wife would not pass up. This goes back to making sure you know exactly what you want and you might even find something that you didn't know you would have to have.

So I hope this hub has given you a better idea on how to shop for them when you do decide that a massage table is something that you should purchase. I know when I had the original idea I thought that I was crazy for wanting to own one but really now I wish I would've done this years ago. Not only are we both more relaxed and less tense, but this is another activity that we both wanted to do and it gives us another chance to spend time together.
